PITTSBURGH, PA, June 1, 2016 – CLG’s Board of Directors has announced that Karen Gorman has assumed the role of Managing Director of the firm following the retirement of President and CEO, Vikesh Mahendroo.  Gorman has also been appointed to the CLG Board of Directors.

CLG’s Directors implemented the organization’s succession plan and are confident of Gorman’s capability to lead the firm into the future.

Gorman joined the firm as a Partner in 2005 and was promoted to Senior Partner in 2010. In March 2013, she joined the Management Team when she was appointed Chief People Officer, simultaneously retaining her Senior Partner role to remain active in the market. Her extensive knowledge of the organization, its services, clients, people and culture provide an outstanding foundation for her leadership of CLG.

Prior to joining CLG, Gorman was with Buck Consultants where she was the East Region Leader for the Organizational Effectiveness and Human Resources Management practice. Previously, she worked with Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson). Earlier in her career she held corporate leadership roles with PECO Energy, Public Service Electric and Gas, and several hospital systems.

Gorman earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and consumer economics from the University of Delaware.
