Anita Williams Woolley, Ph.D.
Dr. Anita Williams Woolley is the Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior and Theory at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University. Her areas of expertise extends to collaborative analysis and problem-solving in teams; collective intelligence; managing multiple team memberships. Dr. Woolley has also consulted extensively for corporate clients as well as for the U.S. Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense. In addition to her working style, interest and intellect as a board director, her research and thought leadership will be a valuable asset to CLG board performance as well as to CLG overall.
Dr. Woolley’s research has been published in Science, Organization Science, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Small Group Research, and Research on Managing Groups and Teams, New York Times, and other leading publications. She has served on the editorial board for Organization Science and Small Group Research, and is a member of the Academy of Management, the Interdisciplinary Network for Group Research, and the Association for Psychological Science.
Dr. Woolley earned her bachelor’s, masters, and Ph.D. from Harvard University.
